3.19.22- Pierson Swanson
Pierson Swanson is a Singer-Songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland who was raised on everything from Jazz, to Classic Rock and Motown. Although a promising youth rooted in music and art quickly shifted to business and athletics in college, a severe back injury made Pierson step back and reevaluate life and what makes him happy, music. Upon graduating from college with a degree in Hospitality and minors in Business Administration and Music, Pierson accepted a job at UBS financial Services in Nashville and with a few songs written in his back pocket, made the leap, knowing no one, and couch surfing until he found a place to live. Two and a half years later and over 200 songs written, Pierson writes for many of his artist friends in town, and is currently working on a debut EP of his own. He spends most of his time writing country music, but a beach bum at heart, Pierson stylistically found his unique sound somewhere between Kenny Chesney, Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan and Jimmy Buffett. Pierson has spent the majority of his life on a stage, and knows how to keep a crowd captivated. Between his smooth vocals and jukebox-like repertoire, you never know what is going to come next.
